Communicate Your Level Of Appreciation

Sales is not all tips and tricks, but there are many little tips that can help you once you have the basics in place.

Here’s an easy one as you can see from a recent client story 👇

Despite being in sales for more than 30 years, Duane B. got some new strategies and tactics from his sales training with FiveFour. And he recently had the opportunity to put one of those new tactics to the test.

Duane received an unsolicited call looking for information on his products and services. After giving the caller the requested information, he went to her website to make sure he had the correct spelling of her name and look for other current contact information.

Duane found her email address and sent a message thanking her for reaching out and confirming the information they discussed on the phone. She immediately responded, thanking him for his time and the information he provided. Ultimately, they purchased from Duane and introduced him to several additional opportunities in their building that he is confident will lead to more business.

In our sales training, we teach salespeople that most client need multiple, positive touches to build trust before they buy. An easy one is to follow up with an email or text message shortly after a phone conversation. Prior to the training, Duane thought it was unnecessary. But he was willing to give it a try and was a little surprised by how well it was received.

Now that he sees the power of multiple, positive touches and proactive communication, he’s a believer in the practice and will continue to send thank you confirmations as part of his sales process.
