Surprising results of Gallup survey provide insight to success

I ran across the results of a survey from Gallup recently.

On the surface, it’s a simple question. Would you rather live an exciting life or a calm life?

The short answer is that more people – a lot more – prefer a calm life. The numbers are 72 percent calm, 16 percent exciting and 10 percent both.

Reading this, I thought about it from the FiveFour perspective. We help companies grow from the inside out. What we’ve learned, working with our clients, is that discomfort is a necessary element of growth.

You can’t get to where you want to go without change. There’s usually some pain in progress.

So, what do you think? Would you rather live a calm life or an exciting one?

I posed that question in my own poll on LinkedIn. Click here to answer and tell me what you think.

I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
